How long before Vitamin E application will lighten acne scars ?

It takes a while, especially if you are not consistent with it. I didn%26#039;t use it for acne scars, just scars from cuts and scrapes I got as a kid. I used it for about 6 months, the cream not the oil which I hear is better, then switched to Mederma, which I think worked a little better. It also depends on the kind of scars too. I had a real deep one on my knee and nothing has worked for it. The surface scars definitely faded.
