MY doctor said don%26#039;t go out in the sun with an acne scar but she didn%26#039;t tell me why. so why? O_O and how do i prevent this because im going to Las Vegas and im going to be in the sun no matter wat..|||when you go out in the sun with an acne scar on ur face, hyperpigmentation occurs. this basically means the sun darkens the appearance of the scar [not good!]. ur acne scar is sensitive to the sun, so when you have scars on ur face from acne you should never leave the house without putting on sunscreen of spf 15 or higher. if possible, make sure ur moisturizer has spf 15 or higher.
try getting rid of the acne scars before you go to las vegas.
TEA TREE OIL! it also evens out skin tone and is known to get rid of acne scars. its cheap [about $10 a bottle] and is sold at trader joe%26#039;s.

i heard that lemon juice on cotton works on scars, but only use this if the above products dont work. also dont use if you have sensitive skin. i used it and it made my skin red and irritated. it has also helped alot of ppl tho.|||The main reason is b/c while a pimple is healing the skin is very sensitive. If it is exposed to too much sun, it can cause the scar to be more pronounced. If you do go outside, but on sunblock.
