How can i get rid of redness on my cheeks, dead skin, blackheads, and scars from pimples????

i have redness on my cheeks and i donno wat its causedby. i have lots of blackheads and scars left from trying to pop pimpples and fron trying to squeeze of the black heads :S

i also have dead skin and i donno how to get rid of it!!

HELP PLEASE!!!|||First, you should probably see a dermatologist, especially if you want to avoid scars and/or get rid of ones you already have.

Next, you should NEVER pop a pimple! Or a blackhead, for that matter. That%26#039;s only going to cause more scars. To get rid of black/white heads, you can try using Biore face strips.

To get rid of dead skin, exfoliate at least once a week. More often if your face can handle it, less often if it freaks out on you. I personally recommend St. Ives apricot scrub.. amazing stuff.

As for the redness, it could be from many different things. This is the part where you should probably see a dermatologist. But if you want something to use in the meantime, avoid anything with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. While they do help with acne, they also irritate and dry the crap out of your skin. I%26#039;d recommend Neutrogena products, especially any of the acne stress control line.

To reduce the redness, you want to avoid irritating your skin any more than you absolutely have to.. only wash your face twice a day and moisturize immediately after. Again, Neutrogena products are good for this. I%26#039;ve been using their oil-free moisture for sensitive skin for a long time and love it. I%26#039;ve also used Dove facial moisturizer in the past, mostly because they have something in the product that is supposed to reduce redness, and it works.

Again, I%26#039;ll stress that it%26#039;s of utmost importance that you don%26#039;t irritate/stress your skin! That%26#039;s a big part of the reason why skin breaks out in the first place. Don%26#039;t scrub unless you%26#039;re exfoliating and definitely don%26#039;t use a washcloth--use your hands instead and make sure you wash your hands before touching your face. And avoid touching your face at all unless you are washing your face.. it%26#039;s pretty easy to transfer bacteria from your hands to your face, and then the problem starts all over again.

Best of luck to you! And again, if your skin doesn%26#039;t clear up, make sure you see a dermatologist!|||you should try an at home peel.

it will refinish your skin, getting rid of the old dead stuff, and prepare for new skin.

then, start a skin care regimen like Good Skin at KOHL%26#039;S department stores, it%26#039;s created by a dermatologist..so it won%26#039;t irritate your skin anymore.

proactiv is a bad choice because as soon as you stop using it, your acne will come back. plus it%26#039;s more expensive.

hope this helps!

Not red of redness maybe eczema.Eczema try Aveno body wash and for acne Proactivi and Acne Free and Triclear!|||well idk what with the red cheeks but...the neutrogena wave will really help with the dead skin %26amp; blackheads! %26amp; it leaves you skin super soft.....as of the scars i use the acne-free scar teatment product...its jus 2 lotions, one to help the scars %26amp; another to put on top so your face dont dry out. it worked really great on mine, dont let anyone tell ya you cant get rid of them completely cuz i did! its only abou $15 %26amp; lasted me about 3 months using it once a day. %26amp; the wave is only about $10 too %26amp; comes with 14 pads. there not too expensive....id atleast get the lotion for the scars cuz i can guarentee it will work! good luck %26amp; hope i could help =)|||Hey...

You should try and find out if you have Rosacea or not. Scrubs can make them worse so be careful. If you cant afford a professional, go to yr local department store and get one of the girls on the make-up counters to diagnose you (it should be part of their training to know what Rosacea is.. if not, move on to another girl.. someone will know)

Laser therapy can be VERY effective in elimination of scars, dead skin, blackheads and enlarged pores but its also very expensive and they usually only do it on old people as you cant go out in the sun again.

Skin peels can be nearly as effective with amazing results. I have done two TCA peels and I%26#039;m amazed by the results. They are also very expensive but I think you can buy them on line and do them at home. I would research it thoroughly before I did this though. You dont want a back yard job that does more damage than good.

Alternative natural methods would include applying honey to the red area (it can be effective in elimination of redness as well as helps renew skin.. used as a face mask twice a weeks is very effective.. just spread honey on your face!)

Steaming the face helps reduce black heads but you need to do it a lot!

Last but by far the least.. Drink HEAPS of water.. I cant stress this enough. Whether you do or dont do any of these other treatments, drinking water is most beneficial.

Skin cells that are fed a lot of water come to the surface plumper and more even, giving you a more even, brighter complexion, eyes and hair. Drinking water can help with the blackheads too.

Hope this helps a bit...

Tahlia|||dnt know about red cheeks but for back hedz etc. you need to follow da following:

get a bowl of hot water and put ur face in the steam and put a towel on your head to act as a little tent, this causes your pours to open an get cleaned. stay like this for NO MORE THAN 10minz.

then go wash your face with COLD water or get a ice cube and rub it across your face till it melts

note:cold closes/hot opens.|||actually u really shouldn%26#039;t pop your pimples it does leave nasty scars, there is a treatment called micro-dermabrasion treatment. that takes off dead skin. or you can get a Photolight therapy that eliminates uneven pigmentation, acne and redness caused by rosacea.|||proactiv. for the acne and redness.

http://www.zenmed.com/ for the scars.
