Does laser mole removal give you scars?

I have 3 flat moles on my face and I am planning to get them removed with laser.

Will it leave any type of mark afterwards? Even though its flat.

Also theyre using laser to take it out.

Best answer gets 10 points thanks|||Yes it will leave a mark as large as the mole it removed. If you keep sunscreen on it it wont darken up and be as noticeable. You can also ask the doc removing the mole what they recommend, you should be wearing sunscreen on your face anyways! Mederma w/sunscreen works very well!|||Though laser treatment is vowed for its minimal scarring effect following mole removal procedure, there is possibility of scar forming due to infection or improper aftercare.

Your skin condition plays a major role too in the formation of scar following laser mole removal. Make sure you drink plenty of water and consume healthy diet to help accelerate the regeneration and restoration of your skin tissues.

It is true that some slight skin discoloration will occur after laser treatment and it takes times for the skin to even out the tones. Therefore, it is crucial that you apply sunscreen to protect the newly developed skin. If possible, avoid any sun exposure at all cost.

Good luck to you.
