Does cuts on the face always end up as scars?

A cut/bruise on the nose near the eye - will it end up as a scar. Is there any thing that i can do to prevent a scar forming?|||It depends on how deep the cut is how well your skin heals. There are bandaids now designed to minimize scarring (BandAid advanced healing bandage is awesome). They work as an imitation scab almost so that your skin does not produce one and, therefor, will not scar. You can cut them to a smaller size if the bandage is too big for the cut. My daughter had a gash above her eye and I used one on it and when I removed the bandage three days later, there was no sign of a cut at all.
